To fully embrace the equation, “Jesus plus nothing equals everything, and everything minus Jesus equals nothing”, we need to have the assurance that he is worthy of our allegiance and loyalty. We need to know tha
t he has full authority, power, and wisdom, and that nothing is lacking in him. Colossians 1:15-20, was written to give us this assurance. It was written to leave no doubt about who Jesus Christ is. It was so that we would be captivated by the greatness of Jesus – that he is supreme over everything and sufficient for all things!
